Playing the front-9 at the Peru Municipal Golf Course, Maconaquah’s boys varsity golf overcame cool conditions Tuesday night to defeat its county rivals, North Miami and Peru. Mac ended the night with a team low score of 198 compared to 207 and 239 of North Miami and Peru respectively.

Freshman, Camron Metcalf’s 44 was the low round of the night. Junior teammate, Cody Miller, came in 2nd for the team shooting a season low 49. Ayden Jernagan and Lane Brehmer shot 51 and 54 respectively to complete the scoring for the night. Billy Guinan and Ryan Ousley also competed carding rounds of 56.

Playing the back-9 and competing for the JV were Joe Butcher, Eli Price, Jakob Grant and Carsten Hollars finishing the night with rounds of 63,63,68 and 70 respectively.

The Braves travel to Etna Acres to take on the Southwood Knights on Thursday.
