Lady Norse Tennis Falls To Marion
The Northfield girls tennis team lost a hard fought battle against the visiting and very strong Marion Giants Friday evening 3-2.
Both doubles won their matches and all three singles matches were grueling. None more grueling than the match up at #2 doubles as Hannah Wilson and Callie Hoffman fought for ever point, going 3 sets, which lasted almost 3 hours for the win!! Also winning in fine fashion was the duo of Eden Hoover and Camryn Kuhn in their #1 doubles match!
The JV girls won their match 3-2.
Winners included: Anna Kissel in her singles match, Claire Thompson and Brinlei Swihart in their doubles match and Anna Kissel and Anna Hodson in their doubles match!
Next match is Monday when the team travels to Peru.
