Results from Tippecanoe Valley for Friday, May 5th and Saturday, May 6th
Boys and Girls Track finish 5th at TRC Championships
On Friday May 5th, the Boys and Girls Track teams competed at the Three Rivers Conference Championships in Wabash, both teams finishing in 5th overall.
On the Girls side, Chesnee Miller won the 800m Run and broke her previous school record (2:29.99) with a 2:28.97. Miller also finished 2nd in the 400m Dash and 2nd in the Long Jump. Betty Shepherd won the 300m Hurdles with a time of 50.02. Shepherd was also 3rd in the 100m Hurdles. Carlee Snyder placed 5th in High Jump. Ava Smith placed 7th in the 200m Dash followed by Caitlyn Ransbottom in 8th. Kendyll Ransbottom placed 8th in the 100m Dash. The 4x100m Relay of the Caitlyn and Kendyll Ransbottom, Smith, and Emma Patrick finished 4th. The 4x400m Relay of Patrick, Gaby Gonzales, Cailtyn and Kendyll Ransbottom finished 7th. The Girls finished 5th overall with 55 Points.
On the Boys side, Dalton Alber won the Shot Put with a throw of 45′ 6″. Cameron Mason placed 5th. Wade Jones finished 2nd in both the 100m and 200m dashes. Cody Black was 6th in the 100m Dash. Eric Burke finished 3rd in the High Jump. Tristen Ragon placed 7th in High Jump as well. Nate Parker finished 5th in the 400m Dash. Brason Smith placed 8th in the 300m Hurdles. The 4x100m Relay of Cody Black, Nate Parker, Wade Jones, and Grady Moriarty placed 2nd. The 4x400m Relay of Isaac Whetstone, Colton Crabb, Eli Sterk, and Parker finished 7th. The Boys finished 5th overall with 56 Points.
