Wabash JV Softball Falls To North Miami

The Wabash junior varsity softball team fell to North Miami 20-4 Tuesday.

Wabash Apaches JV fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 20-4 loss to North Miami on Tuesday. North Miami took the lead on a single in the first inning.

The Wabash Apaches JV struggled to contain the high-powered offense of North Miami, giving up 20 runs.

In the first inning, North Miami got their offense started when Tinney drew a walk, scoring one run.

North Miami scored 11 runs in the sixth inning. Converse, #20, Musall, Tinney, Halterman, and Sparks all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Sparks was the winning pitcher for North Miami. The bulldog lasted six innings, allowing six hits and four runs while striking out five and walking one.

Kendall France took the loss for Wabash Apaches JV. The hurler allowed 14 hits and 12 runs over five innings, striking out three.

Kenzie Renn went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Wabash Apaches JV in hits.

North Miami collected 18 hits on the day. Halterman, Musall, Pugh, Masters , #20, Tinney, Starkey, and Converse each collected multiple hits for North Miami
