Wabash 9/10 Run Well At Huntington
The Wabash 9/10 grade boys ran well at Huntington Saturday.
The Wabash High School varsity boys 9th and 10th graders competed in a freshmen / sophomore meet held at Huntington North Saturday. Despite being one of the smallest schools in the 14 team field the Apaches finished 7th. Coleson Kugler was a double winner, crossing the line first in the 100 and 200 meter dashes. In the 200 meter dash Kugler established a new meet record of 22.62, breaking the previous mark of 22.84 set in 2012.

Other performances of note were Kasen Oswalt in the 1600 – running a new personal record of 5:06, Matthew Niles in the 1600 – running a new personal record of 5:23, Maverick Sommers in the 1600 – running a new personal record of 5:56, Prestyn Jones in the 400 – running a new personal record of 56.47, Max Carpenter in the 200 – 26.80, and Dylan Pence in discus – throwing 80′.
