Recap: The Wabash Hardware Giants defeated the Wabash Elk’s Lodge Cubs 14-8 in 6 innings Tuesday night. Micah Siders was 3 for 4 with a triple and 4 RBI to lead the Giants. Jake Sailors added 2 doubles and 2 RBI. Gavin Trotter, Luke Kaufman, and Eli Dafoe had RBI doubles and Bo McWhirt added an RBI triple for the Giants. Luke Kaufman started on the mound and picked up the win striking out 10 in 5 innings. Ryker Wilcox was 4 for 4 with 3 RBI to lead the Cubs at the plate. Brody Schnurpel went 3 for 4 with a double. Andy Shepard had 2 hits and 2 RBI. Paxton Wright was 2 for 3 with a double and Nash Cunningham added a single for the Cubs. The Giants are 6-2 while the Cubs are now 3-5 on the season.
