Norse Golf Tacks On Another Win

Northfield Varsity golf tacked on another win Tuesday to improve to 16-1 on a historic season. The Norsemen’s 167 was good enough to defeat the Southern Wells Raiders on their home turf.

Tyson Baer led the Norse with an even par 36 with an eagle on the par 5 7th. Baer has now shot par or better on 9 holes for the 4th time this season. Cash Cartwright finished right behind Baer with a 39 marking the 8th match Cartwright has shot in the 30’s this season. Gavin Brainard tied a personal best 43 through his 9. The freshman managed a birdie on the 2nd hole par 4 to help add to his solid play. Tristan Hoffman came in next with a 45 with a birdie on the par 3 third, followed by Easton Shaw 47, and rounding it out was a 51 from Dylan Ross.

The Norsemen will close out their regular season on Thursday where they will host Pioneer at Honeywell for Senior Night. (Cash Cartwright, Dylan Ross, and Jordan Kinsey).
