Jake Sailors and Colton Rice added 2 hits. Luke Kaufman had a double. Eli Dafoe and Isaac Mattern both singled and Connor Krom had an RBI single for the Giants. Micah Siders started for the Giants and picked up the win allowing 4 runs on 3 hits and striking out 8 in 5 and 2/3 innings. Jameson Wallen had a 2 run single and Cade Pershing had an RBI triple to lead the Red Sox. Coby Leland added a single. Jake Getman started on the mound for the Red Sox and struck out 4 in 4 innings. Recap: The Kendall Electric Yankees scored 2 runs in the top of the 6th to defeat the Inguard A’s 5-3 in game 2. Asa Dawes was 2 for 3 while Zach Miller and Owen Davis both had 2 run doubles to lead the Yankees at the plate. Harrison Dale and Hudson Haupert both added singles for the Yankees. Wiley Sorg started on the mound giving up 2 runs on 1 hit with 4 strikeouts in 2 innings. Zach Miller came on to pick up the win allowing 1 run on no hits and striking out 9 in 4 innings. Cruz Long was 1 for 3 with a double to lead the A’s. Blake Ashba scored 2 runs. Cruz Long started for the A’s and gave up 2 hits and struck out 4 in 3 innings. Blake Ashba gave up 5 runs and struck out 3 in 3 innings of work. The Yankees are now 7-2 while the A’s are 5-3 on the season.
