Recap: The Inguard A’s defeated the Kendall Electric Yankees 10-7 in 6 innings in game 1 Tuesday night. Blake Ashba singled and had 2 RBI to lead the A’s at the plate. Zayne Huffman and Cruz Long both had RBI singles while Beckett Shaw and Jackson Tait both singled for the A’s. Jackson Tait started for the A’s and picked up the win striking out 7 in 5 and 1/3 innings. Zach Miller went 3 for 3 with an RBI double to lead the Yankees. Harrison Dale added 2 hits including a triple. Tytus Dawes had a double and an RBI single. Weston Smith added 2 hits and 2 RBI. Hudson Haupert had 2 hits and Asa Dawes had a single. Asa Dawes started on the mound for the Yankees striking out 6 in 2 and 2/3 innings. The A’s are now 6-3 while the Yankees are 7-3 on the season.

Maddox Wallen was 3 for 3 with an RBI to lead the Red Sox at the plate. Jake Getman was 2 for 3 with a double and 2 RBI. Carson McKee had 2 hits while Coby Leland and Emma Cantrell had RBI singles. Camden McKee and Cade Pershing both singled for the Red Sox. RJ Harris went the distance on the mound for the Red Sox picking up the win while striking out 5 in 5 innings. Jayce Kirkpatrick went 3 for 3 to lead the Blackhawks. Mathis Holbert, McKinley Baker, Chase Miller, Ethan Mahan, and Easton Stahl all had singles. Madelyn Stahl and Braxton Chamberlain both had an RBI. The Red Sox are now 3-6 while the Blackhawks are 1-8 on the season.
