Manchester Volleyball Sweeps Peru


The Manchester varsity volleyball team opened conference play on Tuesday night, traveling to Tig-Arena in Peru. The Squires came out strong and never let up, winning in 3 sets 25-16, 25-10, 25-12.

Peyton Ream totaled 32 assists and 8 digs and did a nice job of running the Squire offensive attack.

The Squires hit an impressive .341 on the night from 38 kills and only 10 hitting errors on 82 swings. McKelvey Espeset had 13 kills on only 18 swings. She was followed closely by Olivia Davis with 10 kills and Ava Felgar with 7. Myla Crozier and Gracie Lauer also scored key points for the team.

Solid backrow efforts were had by Paxton Baker, Marley Bellinger, Hadley West, and Myla Crozier

The Squires are in action again this Thursday at home against the visiting Golden Eagles of Oak Hill High School.
