Results from Peru for Saturday, August 19th
Peru Lady Tigers competed in the Tomahawk Invite on Saturday defeating Delphi 25-18, 25-15. They placed 2nd place in pool play, but ended up 1-3 on the day falling to Oak Hill, Caston, and Eastbrook. The young Lady Tigers are improving each time they play together and good things are happening. Sophomore Addie Butt racked up 17 service points on the day with 20 assists. Sophomore Kaelyn Edwards contributed 12 points and 2 aces and sophomore Addison Robbins grabbed 12 points and 9 kills. Senior Brook Garner had 11 kills on the day. Peru will be back home on Monday when they face Caston with JV starting at 6:00pm.

The Tigers won all three rounds to take the Peru Invite on Saturday. Peru’s Ian Potts, Jayleb Walsh, and Jacob Boswell were undefeated on the day at the #1, #2, and #3 singles spots respectively. Potts lost no games on the day; Walsh lost only 2 games, and Boswell lost 4 games to cap off a strong day of singles play for the Tigers.
Improving doubles play also helped the tigers as the #1 doubles combo of Jackson Boswell and Lucas Musser were 2-1 on the day while the #2 doubles tandem of J.P. Pallante and Karter Schwartz went 1-2. Results are below:
