Manchester Volleyball Wins At North Miami


The Manchester volleyball team defeated North Miami 24-26, 25-16, 25-18, 26-24 Thursday.

The Squires had a nice hitting night led by Olivia Davis with 13 kills, followed by Ava Felgar with 9, McKelvey Espeset with 8, Gracie Lauer with 6, and Myla Crozier with 4.

Marley Bellinger was a force to be reckoned with the serve, getting 6 aces to go along with her strong serve receive and defensive efforts.

Paxton Baker, Hadley West, and Peyton Ream all had double digit digs on the night. Peyton also set another nice game totaling 28 assists while doing a great job of distributing the ball to her hitters.

Izzy Renz, Savannah Evans, Taryn Finch, and Lauryn Reichenbach all did a great job stepping in when called up and really helped lift the Squires’ play in the 2nd and 3rd sets.

Manchester is now 3-1 on the year and 2-0 in the conference.

The Squires are back in action this weekend as they travel to Prairie Heights for the Prairie Heights Classic, their first tournament on the year.


Junior Varsity stole a win from North Miami Thursday, August 24th, in two sets.
