Manchester 8th Football Falls To Northfield

The Manchester 8th grade football team fell to Northfield 12-0 Tuesday.

The Squires had a tough time moving the ball on offense at tonight’s game. Miller ran the ball 2 times for 12 yards. Enyeart managed 35 yards on 5 carries. Bahney went 1-5 for 33 yards. Showalter had 1 catch for 33 yards. Defensively leading the Squires was Young. Young had 5 asst and 4 solo tackles. Enyeart also had 5 asst and 5 solo tackles. Both had 2 tackles for loss. Showalter had 5 asst and 3 solo tackles. The Squires will be home next week.

The Northmen end zone was found both times by Kasen Frank. But the yards to get there were chipped away by consistent drives by both Josh Lara-Manchaca and Liam Clark. An impressive contribution was made by Brennon Swan who tacked on an addition 35 yard run.
The defensive effort was led by the Cody Holmes with multiple tackles for a loss. With additional tackles by Brecken Sanders Briggs Baker.
