The Braves came out and fought hard against Wabash. We made some costly mistakes down the stretch that changed the outcome in the end.

I. Kile: 1 solo block, 3 block assist, 3 kills

E. Zeiser: 5 kills

K. Greis & K. Murray: 2 kills a piece

JV Braves lost in 3 sets

6th VB lost in 3 sets to Northfield in their home opener. The girls showed improvement in their serving and teamwork, winning the first set 25-20. The girls seemed to get a little frustrated during the second set, losing 18-25. During the 3rd set, the girls fought hard but ran out of steam, losing 10-15. The Lady Braves were led by Ellie Hostetler with 7 service points. Bristol Yoder had 6 service points, followed by Whitney Barnes with 5. Abby Pearce and Lydia Skinner added 4 and 3 service points.
