Girls Varsity Soccer Battles Back to Win 3-2 over Jay County

After being down 2-0 in the first half, the Lady Eagles fought their way back into the game and won 3-2. Liz Godfrey had 7 saves in goal. Scoring for the Eagles were Landri Hardman, Cadence Pearce, and Lexi Nuber.

The team moves to 3-1-2 on the season.

The Lady Eagles will play Eastern at home next Tuesday.

Boys Varsity & JV Soccer both beat Eastern on Thursday night at home

The Boys Varsity Eagles came out strong beating Eastern 6-0. The first goal of the game was scored 53 seconds into the game by Bryce Gibson off a corner kick assisted by Luke Elzinga. The goal scoring continued with 3 more goals scored in the 1st half. Drew Elzinga scored assisted by Trevor Baker, Trevin Singer scored assisted by Luke Elzinga and Seth David scored assisted by Luke Elzinga. The Eagles scored two more goals in the 2nd half to secure the victory. Drew Elzinga scored again unassisted and Jose Morales scored assisted by Emmett Dorothy. Great team effort Varsity!!

The Boys JV Eagles then played in the second game of the night and were victorious over Eastern 8-0. Many players were involved in the win for the Eagles. The first goal was scored by Cameron Aguilar unassisted followed by a goal scored by Ethan Dorothy assisted by Landon Watts. Goals were then scored by Landon Watts assisted by Marc Caritos, Joshua Morgan assisted by Marc Caritos, Landon Watts assisted by Luis Morales and Aiden Butler unassisted. The final two goals of the game were scored by Cameron Aguilar assisted by Ben Babinski and Marc Caritos assisted by Joshua Morgan. Nice win Eagles!!
