Manchester Volleyball Defeats Rochester

The Manchester volleyball team defeated Rochester 3-1 Tuesday.

After a slow start, the Manchester varsity volleyball team recovered and defeated visiting Rochester in 4 sets 21-25, 25-23, 25-8, 25-7.

The Squires totaled 55 kills on the evening led by a dominant effort by McKelvey Espeset who had 19 kills and 5 blocks. Other impressive hitting nights were had by Myla Crozier with 13 kills and Olivia Davis with 11 kills.

Paxton Baker (18) and Hadley West (11) had double digit digs to pace the backrow defense.

Marley Bellinger had 20 service points on the evening and two backrow kills.

Peyton Ream continued her run of impressive setting nights with 42 assists. She is currently in the top 10 in Class 2A in assists and also currently leads the TRC in total assists.

The Squires are now 3-1 in the conference and 6-9 overall. They are back in action on Thursday when they host Lewis Cass.
