Girls Golf splits three way match to wrap up regular season

The Tigers finished their regular season at Round Barn on Tuesday against Rochester and Northfield. The team posted their best nine hole round of the season with 201. Rochester won the match with a score of 168 and Northfield was third with 208. Piercey Dyer led Peru with a round of 39. Lainey Wouster continued her solid play with a round of 53. Maddie Caldwell shot a personal best 54, Raina Nero shot 55, Annie Dolly shot a personal best 59, and Bailee Beattie rounded out scoring with 60.

The team is now preparing for the IHSAA Sectional hosted by Western at Chippendale on Friday. Peru’s tee times begin at 9:45.

Varsity Volleyball falls to Northfield Jr-Sr 3 – 0

There were many future Lady Tigers in the Arena Tuesday night as the youth volleyball program was announced with over 40 current volleyball players in the 3rd-8th grade leagues. After that, Varsity Tigers fought hard in 3 sets against Northfield falling to the Norse in 3 sets 15-25, 11-25, 17-25. Sophomore Addison Robbins and Senior Kenzie Burton each collected 2 kills on the night with 5 service points each. Freshman Emmy Thompson, making her varsity debut, also collected 2 kills. The Lady Tigers will host North Miami next Tuesday for a conference match with JV starting at 6:00pm.
