Southwood Golf Captures Eastbrook Sectional
The Southwood, Northfield and Wabash girls golf teams dominated the Eastbrook sectional Saturday, finishing in the top three spots.
The Lady Knights captured the crown, defeating Northfield and Wabash who finished second and third. All three teams will now play in the East Noble regional at Noble Hawk Golf Course Friday, September 22nd at 8:30.
For Southwood Madison Chenoweth led with an 85. Lydia Topliff added an 89, Rowan Goodpasture 90, Hope Niccum 113, Zoey Gaylourd 115.
Northfield finished second with a score of 381. This will be the 5th year in a row for advancing to regionals. Hannah Wilson led the way with an 86. Addi Sorg was next with a 92, Ayla Dale a 94, and Emma Wilson a 109.
For Wabash Kenley McWhirt 84, Emma Adams 96, Sidney Till 107, Kaylee Indrutz 114, Julia Stephens 131.
