Mac Boys Soccer Defeats Rochester to Improve to 9-2

The boys soccer team traveled to Rochester and eeked out a win against the Zebras. The Braves controlled the majority of the game, but struggled to finish. Maconaquah put up double digit shots vs Rochester’s 3 attempts. The Brave goal came with less around 5 minutes left in the game when Bennett Isenburg beat several Zebras off the dribble and buried it home.

This puts the Braves at 9-2 on the season and into a very busy last 2 weeks of the regular season. The boys will play at Tipton on Thursday, two games at the Winamac Invite on Saturday, at Manchester on Monday (which will most likely define who wins the TRC) and at Peru next Wednesday. Both Maconaquah and Manchester are 3-0 in Three Rivers Conference play.

Girls 6th Grade Volleyball falls to Wabash 2 – 0

The Lady Braves lost in 2 straight sets to Wabash. The hard, consistent serving of the Lady Apaches caused lots of problems for the girls. The girls will be in action tomorrow as they travel to county rival North Miami playing at 6pm
