OHXC Lady Eagles Finish 2nd at Grant 4 – Travis Medals in 3rd – Highley & Woodard Top 5

The OHXC Lady Eagles finished 2nd in the Tuesday’s Grant 4 Championship behind Eastbrook. Despite going 3-4-5 and adding another Top 10 runner in 7th the Lady Eagles fell to the Lady Panthers 26-30. Eastbrook All State Senior Olivia Howell was the Individual Champion in 19:40.

Lady Eagle Sophomore Biruk Travis was the lone OHXC Top 3 Podium Medalist finishing a strong 3rd in 20:14.

Senior Leah Highley and Audrey Woodard were both Top 5 finishers taking 4th and 5th respectively. Sophomore Sophia Rowland was Top 10 coming in 7th.

Freshman Erika Newhouse and Junior Abby Sneed were the 5th and 6th scorers for the Lady Eagles finishing 13th and 14th overall.

Sophomore Lydia Trexler was the 7th Varsity scorer just behind them in 15th. Freshman Quinn Brunner 18th, Freshman Lilly Snyder 19th, and Junior Ellie Campbell 20th were all Top 20 finishers.

The Lady Eagles compete Saturday September 23rd in the Culver Academy Invitational.

Top 25 Ranked OHXC Golden Eagles Win 9th Straight Grant 4 With Near Perfect Score – Jackson Wins, Sweet-Tippey-Sneed go 2-3-4

The Top 25 State Ranked OHXC Golde Eagles scored a near perfect score 19 points to win their 9th straight Grant 4 Championship Tuesday behind a 1-2-3-4 finish. Senior Owen Jackson won his 2nd Individual Grant 4 Title in a very quick time on the OHXC course in 16:02. Classmate Trenton Sweet was Runner Up in 16:27 while Sophomore Corban Tippey earned the last Podium Top 3 Medal coming in 3rd in 17:13. Senior Toby Sneed was 4th for the near sweep with classmate AJ Austin rounding out the Top 5 scoring coming in with a Top 10 finish at 9th.

It was the Golden Eagle’s 24th Grant 4 Championship the last 25 seasons.

Sophomore Brayden Sommers was 12th while Freshman Kyle Brower was the 7th Varsity runner in 13th. Junior Owen Roth posted his best race of the season to finish a strong 14th. Senior Kaleb Westgate and Freshman Wyatt Hart both posted Top 20 finishes in 16th and 20th.

The Golden Eagles compete Saturday September 23rd in the Culver Academy Invitational.

Girls Varsity Soccer beats North Miami 6-0

On Monday evening, the Lady Eagles traveled to North Miami and picked up their 7th win of the year. Lexi Nuber had a hat trick, also scoring for the Eagles were Landri Hardman, Kora Pond, and Annie Hale.

The team is back in action tonight against CIC oppenent, Elwood, at home at 6pm.
