Norse JH Football Defeats Peru

The Northfield junior high football team defeated Peru 32-22 Tuesday.

The scoring was dispersed with Touch downs coming from: a first-play-rushing-TD of 50 yards from Josh Lara-Manchaca, a 1 yard QB sneak from Cooper Good, a 13 yard reception from Kolton Prus, and a 3 yard rusn from Logan Holmes. Lara-Manchaca ended up with 79 yards. And Briggs Baker added a 33 yard run and a 50 yard reception.
Leading the defensive effort was Ean Selleck with 6 solo tackles, 3 for a loss. Cody Holmes, Justin Brunette, and Briggs Baker brought in another 12 tackles.
The Norse next travel to Whitko on Tuesday September 26 to face the Wildcats.
