Wabash Boys Soccer Pitches Shut Out Against Tri Central
The Wabash boys’ soccer team defeated Tri Central 1-0 Thursday.
A first-half goal by Ty Carpenter was the difference against TriCentral Thursday night. Carpenter collected the ball near midfield and successfully dribbled through the defense before firing a shot that beat the keeper. After the goal, Wabash seized control of the momentum and held on through the second half for the victory.
Seniors Will Galley and Troy Guenin-Hodson shined in the midfield by controlling the tempo and distributing quality passes. Senior goalkeeper Isaac Byers ended the evening with his fourth shutout of the season. Wabash wraps up the TRC schedule on Monday when they travel to North Miami.
