The Northfield Junior Varsity Volleyball team placed 4th in the Wabash JV Tourney on Saturday. The team defeated Manchester 25-14, 25-18, then fell to Maconaquah 23-25, 22-25. They faced Peru and defeated them 25-18, 25-14, then advanced to the consolation game where they faced Wabash. They finished 4th falling to Wabash 25-18, 24-25, 10-15.
Leading the Norse in scoring for the day was Emma Shrock with 31 points, 10 aces, Callie Hoffman had 25 points, 2 aces, Vivian Haupert had 19 points, 5 aces, Mikayla Meyer and Saige Martin each added 13 points, Brinlei Swihart had 10 points, 1 ace and Millie Higgins added 6 points, 1 ace. Saige Martin had 15 kills for the day, Callie Hoffman had 11 kills, and Mikayla Meyer had 10 kills. The Norse take on Manchester Tuesday at home.
