Manchester Girls Soccer Defeats Logansport
The Manchester girls soccer team defeated Logansport 3-1 Monday.
The first half remained scoreless as both teams battled but couldn’t find the back of the net. Logansport scored first out of halftime to take the lead 1-0.
It wasn’t until the last 10 minutes of the game when the Lady Squires tied the game as London Spangle made her PK after a foul in the box. Brookelynn Buzzard found the back of the net a few minutes later from Samantha Shock’s pass outside. Ava Sautter scored the 3rd goal as she hit a PK after a handball in the box in the last 2 minutes.
The Lady Squire defense led by Addison Brubaker, Karsyn Kamphues, Chase Bleivns, Molly Schannep, and Maggie Onderko-White had to play tough as Logansport had a lot of great shots.Grace Smith had a good game with 7 saves in the net.
