Manchester United Falls In Sectional

Manchester Unified Flag Football falls to Homestead in the IHSAA Sectionals 59 – 26.

The Squires ended their season in the first round of Sectionals against Homestead 59-26. The Squires played hard but couldn’t beat the long passes from Homestead. Touchdowns were complete red by Resto D’Andrea, Gavin Betten, Gavin Martin, and Brady Miller. The Squires got the lead early on with a safety. Defensive pressure was provided by Hunter Bean, Resto D’Andrea, Peyton Baker, Cody Lengel, Rheise Baker, Gavin Betten, and Gavin Martin. The Squires played hard and ended the season with positive sportsmanship displayed by all. Champions Together assembly will be Monday morning at MJSHS PAC at 8:30. This is a whole school assembly for all students and staff. The Unified Squires team will be a part of the convo.
