Lady Squires Sweep Wabash
The Manchester Squires volleyball team finished their TRC matchups by traveling to Wabash High School on Tuesday. The Squires were able to walk away with a 3 set sweep of the Apaches with scores of 25-18, 25-17, 28-26.
A solid all around game was had been everyone. Peyton Ream had another nice game distributing the ball with 33 assists. She also had 13 digs, 9 service points including 3 aces, and 2 kills.
Our hitters had some nice performances with McKelvey Espeset leading with 10 kills, followed by Myla Crozier with 9, Ava Felgar with 8, Olivia Davis with 4, and Gracie Lauer with 3.
The backrow was scrappy once again picking up a lot of digs. Hadley West led with 14 digs, followed by Ream with 13, Marley Bellinger and Paxton Baker with 9, and Crozier with 8.
The Squires are back in action for their final home game of the season as they host Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian for our Senior Night.
