Lady Squires Fall In Sectional Championship

The Manchester girls soccer team fell to Eastbrook 1-0 in the sectional championship Saturday at Wabash.

The first half remained scoreless for both teams despite both teams getting some good looks. Addison Brubaker, Maggie Onderko-White, Karsyn Kamphues, Chase Blevins, and Molly Schannep played a tough defensive line and gave great effort in the back.

In the second half, Eastbrook was able to break past the defense to go up 1-0. The Lady Squires had some good shots from Ava Sautter, Campbell Bolinger, London Spangle, Samantha Shock, and Aymia Miller but couldn’t find the back of the net. Grace Smith had a phenomenal game in the net with 11 saves.
