Southwood JH Volleyball Captures Two RRC Titles
The Southwood7th and 8th grade volleyball teams won the RRC tournament Saturday.
Southwood 8th Grade VolleyKnights ended their season by claiming the 2023 RRC championship title. They defeated North Miami in the semifinal round to put them in the championship game against Manchester. They defeated Manchester 2-0, with a score of 25-23, 25-21.

The 7th grade volleyball team ended their season with a two game win to claim the RRC title for 2023. They defeated North Miami 2-0 (25-11, 25-9) in the semifinal round before facing Northfield in the championship game. They went on to beat Northfield, 25-16, 25-9 to win the RRC.

The Northfield 7th grade defeated Manchester 25-17, 25-21 in the semi finals before falling to Southwood 16-25, 9-25 in the championship.
