Girls Varsity Basketball falls to Northfield Jr-Sr 49 – 39

The Tigers traveled to Northfield to face the Norse in a TRC contest. Addison Robbins started the game with hot shooting and scored all 13 points in the first quarters for the Tigers, but due to the Tigers inability to play defense without fouling they found themselves in a 19-13 deficit after the 1st quarter. The Tigers rebounded in the second quarter with better defense and balanced offense to take halftime lead of 25-24. The Tigers maintained that lead in the 3rd quarter 35-34, but struggled to finish the game in the 4th quarter and had many missed opportunities to strike back on offense to find themselves losing 49-39. The Tigers were lead offensively by Addison Robbins who had a career high of 23 points. Mareiona Mason had 6 points. Kaylene Kirk had 5 points. Maliyah Dunn had 3 points. Sydney Azbell had 2 points. The Tigers are now 0-8 and 0-3 in TRC play. They return to action December 2nd at Wabash with a JV tip at 6:15pm with varsity to follow.
