3A #12 Tigers fall to 4A #5 Kokomo 72-45 as Roettger reaches a milestone.

The varsity Tigers renewed a long-standing rivalry with the Wildkats in Memorial Gym.

The Kats were the hosts of the 2023 edition, coming off a state-runner-up season in 4A. In what has been a historically physical game, tonight was no exception. The Tigers battled early foul trouble and had trouble knocking down shots against the Kats full court defense they continued to employ late into the game.

Senior Matthew Roettger entered the game needing 14 points to join the 1000 point club. On a bucket in 4th quarter he eclipsed that mark finishing the evening with 1001.
