Girls Varsity Basketball beats Elwood Community 43 – 11

Oak Hill won a conference game over Elwood. This game had a familiar feel to it, it starts with defense! Tonight the Eagles held the Elwood Panthers to 19 points below their season average. Oak Hill got their scoring tonight from Erika with 12 points, Liz Godfrey with 9 (on three 3-pointers), Lydia Trexler with 9 and Liv Shaw with 7.

Erika also led the team with 12 rebounds, Ruth Tripp had 6 boards and Lydia had 4.

Several Eagles tied for the team lead with 2 assists.

The defense blocked two shots and had 20 steals on the night.

Great win for the Lady Eagles who are 6-2 on the season and 2-0 in conference.

JV won again tonight 42-28 and are 7-1 on the season. The win was over the Marion Giants.
Jollee Hawkins was Oak Hill’s leading scorer with 10, Sela Sherron and Sarah Beth Tripp each had 8.
