Our boys looked tired after the effort on Monday. They still swam well but didn’t have a lot of best times. Janis continues to improve every day. I put him in the 100 Backstroke for the first time and he did great. He also dropped 1.5 in the 50 back. Isaiah Moore is getting stronger and improving his endurance. Colton Beebe dropped .2 in the 50 Free and swam the 500 for the first time. He may have a new favorite event! Sam Cardwell improves every day. He dropped .8 in 50 Fly and .1 in 50 Free. Zach Duke dropped 1.3 in 100 Back. Joel Loshnowsky swam the 200 IM for the first time and Aiden Ousley swam the 100 Butterfly for the first time. The Golden Goggle Award goes to Drake Samuel. Boys 8th Grade Suffers Another Close Defeat

We played in a similar fashion as that of the Peru game where we fell just out of reach to writting a miraculous come from behind one of a kind grand ole story. We are a resilient team and the only way to find out if you are is to play in games such as this. It is just a hard pill to have to swallow specially multiple times this early and often. The boys should be commended for their spirit and determination for much of the game. When we are firing on all cyclindars, teams take notice. We just need to have four complete quarters which I believe will come this season. We will continue to grind away working on being more effective rebounders and opportunistic offensive hunters. Jack Gochenour led all scores with 20 while Jude Callane had an emergent night with 9, which means his best is yet to come. Brody Kubly had another inspiring night with 6. Please keep our brother CJ in your thoughts and prayers as he heals from a wrist injury that occured towards the end of the game tonight. Our next contest is Monday @ Western.
