Girls Varsity Basketball beats Wabash HS/MS 49 – 37

Good win on the road for the Lady Eagles! Oak Hill went to Wabash and won 49-37. It was the offense tonight that was needed to ignite the team. Wabash jumped out to a 19-10 lead midway through the second quarter but the Eagles stormed back to take a 21-19 lead at the half.
The Eagles were led in scoring by Liz Godfrey with 11, Alivia Shaw with 10, Landri Hardman had 9, Lydia Trexler 7, Erika Newhouse had 6, Alexa Myers 4 and Kora Pond with 2. It was a balanced scoring night.

Oak Hill out-rebounded Wabash on the night led by Erika Newhouse and Landri Hardman with 7 each. Both Alivia Shaw and Lydia Trexler had 4 rebounds.

Oak Hill also won the assists battle led by Erika Newhouse with 6 and Landri Hardman with 4.

Oak Hill is 8-4 on the season with a big conference game on Saturday at home vs Frankton.

JV won again tonight 23-14 and they are 10-2 on the season.
