Girls Varsity Basketball beats Oak Hill 41 – 30

The Lady Kings survive a close one improving to 13-2 on the season with a 41-30 victory over the Golden Eagles of Oak Hill. Free throws late were the difference maker as the Kings went 16-20 (9-10 in the 4th quarter). Heta Kosunen earned another double double as she scored a team high 15 points with a team high 10 rebounds. Aftin Griffin was a close 2nd with 12 points as she earned a team high 4 steals. Other scorers for the Kings were Anna Hedrick with 5 points, Kinsey Mennen with 4, Faith Helvie with 3, and Ava Hubner with 2.

The Kings head to Northfield Friday night in a boy/girl double header.

In a brief two-quarters, the Lewis Cass JV Lady Kings faced Oak Hill. Laney Davis, Laura Nebrera, and Lexi Gotshall each scored 2 points.
