Area Girls Wrestlers Headed To State

Six Wabash and Miami County Girls Wrestling teams competed at the Rochester Semistate on Friday.

Four athletes qualified for Girls State, with three alternates. Two area teams finished in the Top 10 out of more than 50 schools.
Northfield’s Ella Gahl moved to 26-0 on the season with 3 pins on the day.
Girls State begins at 11am Friday at Kokomo Memorial Gymnasium.
