Squires Hold Off Canterbury

Manchester improved to 10-2 on the season after defeating Fort Wayne Canterbury 61-56 Saturday.

The Squires jumped out to an early lead in the game and never trailed after the first possession.

Leading Manchester in scoring was Gavin Betten with 17 points. Gavin Martin hit 4 threes on the night and had 13 points. Other scorers for the Squires were Tyler McLain and Ethan Hendrix with 8 points, Garrett Sites and Tallon Torpy with 6 points, and Wyatt Prater had 3 points.

The Squires return to action on Friday against Wabash.
