The Northfield junior high girls basketball teams traveled to Lewis Cass Monday.

The Lady Norse 7th grade girls traveled to Lewis Cass on Monday and defeated the Kings 33-9 to grab their fifth win of the season. The girls played well on both ends of the floor and were led by Gemma Haupert with 14 points, 3 rebounds, 1 steal. Followed by Kassidy Cartright, who did all her scoring behind the 3 point line with 6 points, 1 rebound. Avery Custer chipped in 5 points, Miranda Meyer had 4 points. Rounding out the scoring was Tenley Kuhn and Bella Schultz with 2 points a piece along with Schultz having 4 steals and Kuhn grabbing a rebound and steal. The Lady Norse improve to 5-1 and are back in action this Thursday as they travel to Bluffton.

The Lady Norse 8th grade stayed perfect on the season last night with a stellar defensive effort, holding Cass to 7 points. Their record now stands at 5-0 and will play a very good Bluffton team Thursday night. Below are game totals: Teagan Baer, 5 pts, 13 Reb, and 3 Stls, Kyra Aderman, 4 points, 9 reb, 1 stl, Addi Wischman, 4 pts, 2 reb, and 1 stl. Emily Miller had 3 pts, 1 reb, and 2 stls, Andrea Wideman had 3 pts, 1 reb, and 1 steal. Ali Copeland had 2 pts, 1 reb, and 2 steals.
