Squires Remain Undefeated In TRC Play

The Manchester boys basketball team improved to 12-2 after defeating Rochester in a conference battle 76-55 Friday at Rochester.

The Squires overcame a tough first half to outscore the Zebras 46-26 in the second half. The Squires had 17 turnovers in the game but were able to turn Rochester over 25 times.

Gavin Betten had 28 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 blocks. Gavin Martin had a season high 16 points and 5 rebounds. Ethan Hendrix 16 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 steals. Other scorers for the Squires were Tyler McLain with 6 points, Carter Wagoner and Garrett Sites with 4 points, and Kaleb Kline and Tallon Torpy with 2.

The Squires remain undefeated in conference play and will play 10-1 Adams Central at home Saturday night.
