Girls Varsity Basketball beats Southwood Jr-Sr 42 – 29
The Lady Kings get the win on Senior Day with a 42-29 victory over Southwood. Aftin Griffin led all scorers with 14 points. She also had a team high 4 steals. Anna Hedrick scored 9 points to go with her 5 rebounds and 2 steals. Kinsey Mennen scored 8. She also pulled down a team high 7 rebounds. Other scorers for the Kings were Heta Kosunen with 5 points, Mylie Sipe with 4 and Ava Hubner with 2 points.
The Lady Kings improve to 18-2 on the season and 7-0 in the conference. They have a quick turn around as they face Rochester on Monday night.
