Girls Varsity Basketball beats Maconaquah 42 – 29

The Lady Kings were able to do something that hasn’t been done at Lewis Cass since 2001, win a conference championship. With tonight’s 42-29 victory over Maconaquah, the Kings earn a share of first place with Whitko. Whitko’s lone loss was to the Kings back in December.
The Kings were led in scoring by Kinsey Mennen and Anna Hedrick, both with 12. Aftin Griffin scored 7. Heta Kosunen and Mylie Sipe added 3. And Laney Davis and Kotone Fujita scored 2 each.

The Kings return to action Friday night as they face North Miami in the Sectional.
