Lady Knights 8th Wins At Peru

The Southwood 8th Grade Lady Knights went on the road to Peru and defeated the host Tigers 31-17.

The Lady Knights playing their 3rd game in 3 nights were a little sluggish in the first half before picking up to pace on defense, which lead to the Knights offense. All 7 ladies played and scored and contributed in the team victory. Dealing with early foul trouble the Lady Knights really picked up their composure and dictated the pace of the second half forcing Peru in to multiple turnovers. Offensively, the Knights executed the offense picking up high percentage shots which started falling in the second half. These ladies have now won 6 games in a row and now sit at 8-2 on the season.
