Girls Varsity Basketball falls to Sectional -Bellmont 42 – 31

Oak Hill played a great game tonight but fell short of knocking off Bellmont. It was a tight game that stretched a little because of late free throws by Bellmont. The Eagles fought for four quarters. Even in this final defeat of the season there was a lot of pride in the play of our girls tonight.

Scoring was led by Lydia Trexler with 10, Liz Godfrey with 7, Alivia Shaw had 6 and Erika Newhouse, Ruth Tripp, Morgan Cates and Lex Myers had 2 points each.

Morgan Cates led the team with 10 rebounds followed by Erika Newhouse and Alivia Shaw with 5 each. Lydia Trexler also had 4.

Liz Godfrey led the team with three assists followed by Landri Hardman with 2 and several other players had one each.
