Southwood JH Girls Take Two From Madison Grant
The Southwood junior high girls basketball teams took two games from Madison Grant Thursday.
The 7th grade won 42-2
The Southwood 8th Grade Lady Knights playing their 3rd game of the week defeated visiting Madison Grant 35-8. The Lady Knights jumped out to a quick 13-2 1st quarter lead and never looked back. The Lady Knights applied an aggressive defense which held the Lady Argylls scoreless in the 2nd quarter heading into halftime with an 25-2 lead. The lady Knights played great throughout the 2nd half to secure the 35-8 victory.
