Knights Regroup At Madison Grant

After an emotional intense game the previous night vs. Maconaquah, the Southwood Knights were able to regroup, focus and pull out the 55-50 win at Madison Grant Saturday.

On Friday Southwood fell to Maconaquah 77-67

In John Burrus’s return to Southwood, the Knights and the crowd were ready to compete. Southwood got out to a good start leading after one 19-16. A bad second quarter (27-12) had the Knights trailing 43-31 at the half.
Southwood came rallying back in the third to cut a 15 point lead to 2 and trail 63-61. Unfortunately the Knights could not keep up with the top scoring team in state and fell 77-67.
