Manchester Track Runs Well At Bulldog Relays
It was a good day to be a Squire track athlete.
The guys team ended up 4th overall and ALL athletes who competed last year improved their time/distance/height.
The boys DMR team of Oliver Fitzpatrick, Carson Heath, Caleb Smith, and Kyler Dale set a new DMR record with a time of 11:38.51. The team placed 5th in the meet and is currently seeded 18th in qualifying for the Hoosier State Relays May 23rd.
60 m hurdles:
2nd Carson Heath 8.97 ( currently 11th overall)
7th Eli Metzger 9.74
12th freshman Holden Poston 10.54
60 m dash:
15th Tyler McClain 7.49
23rd Thomas Rodriguez 7.59
HJ:
1st Carter Wagoner 6’0 (currently seeded 8th)
2nd Heath 5’10 (currently 15th)
4th Jan Vrkoc 5’4
Wagoner also leaped 19’1.5″, Trace Murphy 16′, Korbin Presl 18′ in the long jump.
The 4×200 team of Mclain, Rodriguez, Heath, and Metzger turned in a smoking time of 1:36.14, placed 3rd at the meet and is currently seeded 5th overall.
Shot putter Braxton Miller improved over last year with a toss of 31’10”.
The Squire ladies placed 17th in the meet.
The girls DMR team of Ayla Cashdollar, Evyn Fox, Lauren Reichenbach, and Hannah Eberly ran a 14:14.36 and is currently seeded 16th overall.
The 4×200 team of Olivia Davis, Taryn Finch, Gracie Lauer, and Ava Simcoe placed 10th with a time of 1:57.94and is seeded 28th overall.
Finch placed 8th in the high jump with a 5’6 leap.

The Squires will compete next Friday at Trine University at a final qualifying event for the Hoosier State Relays the following weekend.
In order to qualify the team or individual must be top 24 or in the case of high jump, top 18.
