The Braves dropped a tough game at Carroll 8-5. Maconaquah was led at the plate by Kaleb Shelton (2-4, 2 RBI) and Bennett Isenburg (2-4, 1 RBI, 2 SB). The Braves also got hits from Marcell Sims, Braxtin Birner, and Damion Torres. The Braves played solid defense tonight and also threw strikes on the mound. Zach Stolz added an RBI.

Freshman Deven Mitchell started on the mound tonight and pounded the zone early and often. Unfortunately, Carroll has key hits in key situations and was able to score some runs.

Maconaquah is back in action on Thursday for our home opener against Western at 6pm.

The Lady Braves traveled to beautiful Kokomo Stadium Tuesday to play the Wildkats.

Maconaquah again came out fast against a tough Kokomo team. The Lady Braves had the lead after 3 innings 4-3. However, could not scratch out a win losing 6-4.

Leading the Braves on offense was Senior Amaya Rader who went 3-4, 1 RBI, 1 Run Scored. Also hitting for the Braves Shaela Brazzel 1-4 1R, Blayklee Buman1-3 1RBI, Bailey Carson 2-3, and Anna Clifton 2-3 2RBI.

In the circle last night was Junior Blayklee Buman pitching 6 innings, allowing 10 hits, 3 Ks, 3 BB, 4 ER.

Maconaquah travels to Oak Hill on Thursday to face Oak Hill 600pm start.
