Manchester Baseball Edges Oak Hill

The Manchester baseball team hung on to defeat Oak Hill 9-8 Monday.

The team took the lead in the bottom of the first inning and never trailed in the game. Reiss Gaerte led the Squires offensively by going 3-4 with 4 RBIs.

Gavin Martin 1-3 with 2 RBIs and 3 runs scored

Ethan Hendrix 1-3 with 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored

Payton Jones 1-3 with 1 run scored

Gavin Martin threw 4 innings and Evan Martynowicz pitched 3 innings in relief.

The team is scheduled to open confrence play on Wednesday as they travel to Maconaquah.
