Columbia City came down to Maple Grove to face us in our first NE8 and we came away with the win 156-166
Leading us was Javin Gray with a 1-under score of 34, Griffin Husband 39, Kamden Lahr 40, Ceaten Brubaker 43, and Dalton Hoch 44.
The JV also played and won 187-190 Leading the JV was Justin Teusch 45, Nick Grodrian 46, Issac Bennett 47, Ben Roth 49, and Chase Stecher 51.
Also playing were Liam Tibbs 46, Parker Hill 46, Gavin Magnuson 48, Grey Dill 50, Eli Ramp 55, Rhyder McFadden 56, and Cohen Endsley 62.
We host Dekalb tonight in our second NE8 match.

Last night, the Huntington North Girl Track & Field team narrowly defeated New Haven by 1 point. First place finishers for Huntington North were:
Gracie Fields-800m Run
4x400M Relay—Lilly Brumbaugh, Raegan Double, Ella Colclesser, Alice Friesen
4x800M Relay—Hannah Haupert, Brenna Cady, Gwen Kiser, Hayden Miller
Long Jump—Mya Plemons
High Jump—Jadyn Stetcher & Leah Hertel (tied for first).
Pole Vault—Maeve Wilkinson
Coach’s Note: “Wow! What a great meet for our girls! We had many personal and/or season best times/distances yesterday in many events; two throwers (Annika Carpenter and Abby Grube) threw over 100ft in the discus; our 4×400 team, 4×100 team, and 800m run had amazing finishes….the list could go on and on. Really proud of the girls as we prepare for the NE8 Conference meet in early May! Great job, Ladies!”
Huntington North Lady Vikes T&F will travel to Churubusco H.S. this Saturday for the Turtletown Classic with the start time being 9am. Our next dual meet will be on Tuesday at home against East Noble, which will be our Senior Recognition night.
