Manchester Baseball Wins At Maconaquah

The Manchester Squires baseball team opened up conference play on the road Wednesday night against Maconaquah, defeating the Braves 7-5.

The Braves scored first with a 3 run homerun in the first and then followed it up with a 2 run homerun in the second. The Braves were then held scoreless the rest of the game. The solid pitching and good defense allowed the Squires bats time to wake up. The Squires had 10 hits on the day.

Garrett Sites 2-3 with a Double, 2 runs scored and an RBI

Gavin Martin 2-3 with 2 RBIs

Evan Estep 1-3

Payton Jones 1-3 with 2 runs scored

Dallas Martin 1-4 with an RBI

Evan Martynowicz 1-4 with a run scored
