Lady Squires Win Marathon
Manchester Softball refused to fold and came away with a well-earned 12-10 win over Maconaquah to open conference play Wednesday.
Offensively, the Squires were lead by McKelvey Espeset who went 4-4 with 2 home runs, 8 RBI and 4 runs scored.Izzy Renz, Ava Sautter and Molly Schannep each had 2 hits with Renz scoring 3 times. Schannep had 3 RBI and also threw 5 innings of relief to earn the win.
